Tesla’s Cybertruck can’t tow just any camper. Living Camper is bringing its expertise in high-end campers to the CyberTrailer, a dual-axle camper with angular styling that fits the Cybertruck theme perfectly. The CyberTrailer draws power from a rooftop solar array and can act as a charging station and can even recharge the towing vehicle, although Living Vehicle hasn’t released details on battery capacity or generation. The CyberTrailer also isn’t limited to the Cybertruck, with gas-powered or other EV trucks like the F-150 Lightning or Rivian R1T being just as suitable — although not as well matched aesthetically. Living Vehicle plans to start deliveries of the CyberTrailer in 2025, with reservations available for a refundable $100 deposit.

Approx $175,000 USD

The PORCINI LAMPS collection is a collaboration between two Adelaide interior designers Jacquie Hagan and Madeleine Potter, called memaké.

“The Porcini range grew from a subtle exploration into the elegantly simple form of the mushroom. A series of organic shapes and forms were reinterpreted to form these beautifully crafted and sustainable pieces. Bringing the role of artisan back into design, the Porcini design represents a spirit of craft and the handmade.

The range consists of two designs, the Porcini Stem, comprised of a standard lamp and table lamp, and the Porcini Canopy, comprised of various sized pendant lamps. The lamp shades across the entire Porcini range are interchangeable, to achieve multiple size combinations. Using naturally sustainable materials; Tasmanian Oak, a non-endangered timber species sourced from Australian sustainable forests finished with natural Australian beeswax, and 100% pure new wool upholstery, which is both biodegradable and renewable.”

With space at a premium these days, people have to think outside the box (or should I say the bridge) to find a place to relax, focus and escape the hustle and bustle, so what better way, than to make your own hidden studio under a bridge. Well that’s what self-taught designer Fernando Abellanas has done in the Spanish city of Valencia. In just 2 weeks the furniture designer created this ingenious small timber and metal-framed hideaway. Under the bridge he makes use of concrete beams as runners with a set wheels to allow the studio to be rolled along with a hand crank to the cabin. It is decked out with all your basic mod cons: shelves, table, chair and a of courses at night a place for your doona, pillow and lamp. This studio is simply so beautiful, minimal and he wishes to keep the location a secret, so would I. So basically you’re in the city but not in the city if that makes any sense, but who cares, it’s just Guay! (Spanish for cool). Check out more images here a video of it’s construction here. Abellanas designs furniture and lighting under the name Lebrel.

How about staying in a Audemars Piguet House. Yes that right they’ve just opened there first AP luxury house in Asia. Located in Hong Kong, the concept of the house was created around the idea of what environment founders Jules Louis Audemars and Edward Auguste Piguet would be dealing with clients today. The contemporary private apartment is the answer to the question “What more can we do to elevate customers’ experience with Audemars Piguet?” Chief executive officer François-Henry Bennahmias says its for you to “invite friends for lunch, organize a business meeting… there’s no obligation to buy a watch. You can take a seat, relax and chill out, if that’s how the mood takes you”. Sounds good to to us, we’re there!

Wow, now this a beauty. We haven’t featured a Panerai watch on TheNews before, but what a great one to start off with the Submersible Bronzo. This watch could be easily be worn to the opera let alone diving. Now lets get into some specs it’s got a 47mm solid bronze case, natural leather band with titanium buckle, deep brown dial complimented by a micro-sandblasted brown ceramic disk on the unidirectional rotating bezel and water-resistant up to a massive 300m, but wait there’s more…a power reserve of three days and a stunning sapphire porthole on the caseback and also includes a cool military green rubber strap for work in the sea. Panerai have now released this watch to the mainstream, not just to their best customers. So go dive! $16,500 USD (excl. sales tax).

Started in 2012-13, the main house (the ring) has been completed and rest is yet to come. At quick glance it’s not your typical Greek house but exudes the best of Greek architecture. It is 165 nautical miles from the Sahara desert and displays true minimalism and brutalism at the same time, now we like that!

Now I don’t think you’d be seeing this anytime soon on the Sydney Harbour, not unless they’re filming the new James Bond film. The CODE X yacht concept made in Switzerland is a 47 foot catamaran with a whopping 710hp (twin F1 engines) with all the mod cons, LED touchscreens, solar/hybrid power, a GPS virtual anchor. CODE- X has a refreshing avant garde minimal styling design of angular chrome shape, a glass canopy over its’ deck and solar panels between the catamaran spires. And a really cool name CODE-X! Sorry I can’t stop saying it, it’s just fringing cool!
